Everytime you enter into a challenge, you can have a look at the prizes that are available to acquire. Prizes vary from challenge to challenge, but generally you win a money reward upon entering (between $100-$500).
If you win four celebrities, you’ll acquire a garment (sometimes related to the challenge itself; when the challenge requires you to wear clothing by a particular designer, you might win one of their things as the reward).
In 4.5 stars, you’ll acquire 25 diamonds.
At 5 stars you will win a secondary item- usually something that’s more costly. I have seen expensive handbags, jewellery or gowns in this part. They’re great for increasing your closet value.
Finally, if you win 5.8 celebrities (which can be only achieved by winning at Top Look), you will win the grand prize of 5000 diamonds!
The Styling Spree is a competition which runs every week, and permits you to acquire a premium wardrobe thing. You can acquire the Styling Spree simply by entering the regular challenges.
Once you’ve entered in all 27 challenges, you will be rewarded with the Styling Spree prize (check your inbox to view it!) . Prizes are often gowns, expensive jewellery, or handbags, and the value is usually $4k or higher, therefore entering all of the Styling Spree challenges are a terrific way to raise your cabinet worth and add premium things to your wardrobe.
You could even enter the Styling Spree challenges following the week ends, so long as the challenge remains on the entrance page. Attempt to enter each of the challenges and acquire those prizes that are exclusive!
You’ll be sent your results in the inbox.
The results tab reveals your voting score that the other Covet Fashion players gave you, (including your factors for bonuses) and some other rewards that you win. Clothing and accessories will go into your closet and will enhance your cabinet worth. Any diamonds that you win will soon be added to a diamond tally.
You could even find all of your previous results and looks by going into your profile and then click Past Looks.
Best Appearance In Level
Best Appearance In Level is kind of a consolation prize for when your appearance scores really well, but maybe not quite the ideal 5.80 score required to win Top Look. This reward is awarded to the highest scoring entry in the challenge, and is usually rewarded to seems which score 5.70 or higher (but below 5.80).
Winning Best Appearance at Level rewards you with the regular awards for winning 5.0 celebrities and high, but you win an additional 500 diamonds along with your appearance appears on the Covet home page”runway.”
Best Appearance in Level is truly a nice way to be rewarded once you’re close to a Top Look but not very.
How to Win Top Look
Is Winning Top Appearance Possible?
I think that it’s safe to say using a Top Look is every Covet player’s fantasy!
Winning Top Appearance definitely appears tough to do at lower rates; chances are, you won’t acquire it until you level up appreciably. Personally, I achieved my first Top Appearance at Level 19. Players tend to vote for sure hairstyles over a number of those lower level ones, therefore once you’ve got access to the”favorite” hairstyles, you’ve got a better chance of winning.
To acquire Top Appearance you definitely have to max out- therefore you have to keep EVERYTHING in year (even 1 point off can mess up your opportunity ), and you’ll have to max out your unworn items.
After that, it is really down to chance! You will find a lot of inspiration classes on Facebook in which you can try to find the”trending” garment for every challenge, and try and style your doll at a look that might* win, but you never truly understand. Most of my Top Looks have been a surprise!
Just try to consider what the challenge requires, pick hair and makeup which matches the situation (and sometimes it’s great to try and imitate what the version is sporting on the cover photograph ), and MAX out. From there, it is up to the voters.
Do not take it hard if you don’t win Top Look or the ideal prize, though. The game is just a game, after all, and it is all in good fun! Keep trying and keep placing together seems you genuinely enjoy, not just looks that you think will triumph. Eventually you will score a Top Look, and probably when you least expect it!
Jet Set Challenges operate a bit differently than the regular timed challenges. You can access them by going into the Style Challenges menu, and clicking Jet Set in the top menu bar.
Jet Set challenges are available forever, and don’t have any time limit to them. You can enter and re-enter them whenever you need as as many times as you need, though they do need 15 tickets to enter each challenge.
Each Jet Set challenge will have a theme based on place and style. The notion is that you along with your version”jet” across the world to various locations and get dressed dependant on where you’re the theme of that particular photo shoot.
Each new Jet Set destination comes with three entrances and each entry features a necessity. Prerequisites are usually a little simple to pass, so almost anyone could enter, regardless of closet value or degree.
What is The Difference Between Modern And Classic Gameplay?
Obviously, the main differences between Modern and Classic is that in Modern, you will find more body types and ethnicities available to play . The other main difference is that in Modern, you’re really supplied a version to dress- you cannot change skin tones or body types when inputting challenges.
Some Covet players hate this limitation, but I find it a fun challenge. While all of the various body shapes wear the same clothes, the garments look different based on the model’s height and weight, which can be realistic and also a nice addition to the game. Also, it’s good to realize that Covet chooses models which accurately match the challenge (for instance, if the challenge is”Japanese Princess”, you will really be presented using a version whom looks of Japanese descent, rather than having the ability to decide on a skin tone which isn’t exactly appropriate).
With Modern, you might also only choose from certain makeup styles- every skintone has cosmetics specific to them. This limitation is not my favorite, but it does allow for more realistic and diverse-looking models.
Last but not least, if you’re playing Modern, you only finish against other Modern players when the challenges enter voting. Thus, if you’re dressing up a curvaceous medium-skinned version for the challenge, you will only be competiting against other players having the same version. Obviously, this prevents against unfair discrimination or voting.
Modern is a great update to the game. I’ll have to be honest: as someone who’s been part of the Covet community for more than three years, it was quite apparent for a very long time that Covet players tended to idolize and vote for one standard of beauty; typically, blonde-haired, blue-eyed models won Top Appearance on every obstacle, even ones in which that appearance did not match. At this time you can view all sorts of body types, skin tones, heights and shapes acquire top appearance, and it is a wonderful change!
Though the contemporary challenges are locked in regards to the body type/skin colour, you can play with whatever skin tones and shaped models you enjoy by going into the”Create Appearance” part of the game.
