Founded in spring 2005, the campaign is based on a coloured catalogue, which advertises different practices of appropriation playing with the layout and aesthetics of well known brands. A quote:
Shoplifting as strategy to fight against property? Downloaded Music as Joy? Compensatory social Justice by reversing the current meter? Cheating the insurance against the daily message to fasten the belt more closely? Protection marriage for equal rights?
-Incredible advantages flowing to a handful of people, but not to those, who assemble the keyboard of your computer.
-The price is caused by the brand and even the smallest angle of your life should be determined by this price. You are bereft of your wishes, desires and ideas and afterwards they are offered to you as commodities to sell.
-The price has no proportion, since what goes monthly to your account is not according to your needs.
On the following pages we introduce some brands which stand crosswise against that logic. A lot of ideas are not really new, some adopted from others. And that’s what they are for: for testing, sharing, for talking about with friends and buddies. You can become experts of your own desires!


Based on the catalogue the group tries to interconnect the issues of appropriation, migration and precarization acting in the field of communication guerilla, performance and agit prop; e.g. a fashion show in the precinct where we present fashion for shoplifting or a talkshow with different experts for dealing with Hartz IV (the new reform of the german social welfare system), like the single-educating shoplifting mother, the happy unemployed, or the dj, downloading music from the internet and cheating his insurance; and last but not least the tupper parties, where people can meet, cook up new ideas for shoplifting and exchange dodges, experiences and hints around all practices of appropriation.

All actions aim at a momentary approach. With our interventions we try to introduce different forms of apropriation, popularise existing forms of resistance in daily life and lead those indiviual and loose strategies in al collective political practise.

Communication and collaboration is mainly working because people from our group are participating in these struggles. We are permanently walking on the borderline between the clame to communicate and the conditions of the process in fact. On the webside we have a sector "appropriation global", where you can find a lot of articles and reports about the international movements we refer to.
